Mateusz Chaberski
Mateusz Chaberski is Assistant Professor in the Department of Performance Studies at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków and a fellow of the Foundation for Polish Science. His research interests include performativity studies, assemblage theory, affect studies, and Anthropocene studies. In 2015, he published the book (Syn)aesthetic Experience: Performative Aspects of Site-Specific Representations (Kraków: Księgarnia Akademicka). In 2019, he released Assemblages, Assemblages: Experience in the Foggy Anthropocene (Kraków: Księgarnia Akademicka). Together with Mateusz Borowski and Małgorzata Sugiera, he co-edited Emerging Affinities: Possible Futures of Performative Arts (Transcript, 2019) and Unexpected Alliances: Performative Arts of Tomorrow (2019). He also co-edited Situated Knowing: Epistemic Perspectives on Performance (Routledge, 2020) with Ewa Bal.
