Magdalena Zamorska

Magdalena Zamorska is a researcher and theorist. She focuses on environmental humanities and plant studies, working within the framework of critical posthumanities, with a particular affinity for the perspective of feminist new materialisms. She is currently conducting research projects on plant ethics in art and natural perfumery.

A Doctor of Humanities, she is an assistant professor at the Institute of Cultural Studies at the University of Wrocław and a member of the Laboratory of Contemporary Humanities at the same institution. She is the editor of the volume Cultural Herbarium (Prace Kulturoznawcze, 2020), the author of the book Intense Bodily Presence (2018), and numerous academic articles. She also runs the blog choreobiota.pl.
