Łukasz Kraj

Łukasz Kraj (Jagiellonian University/University of Turin) is a graduate of Polish Studies, Romance Studies, and Portuguese Studies and a doctoral candidate at the Jagiellonian University Doctoral School in the Humanities, specializing in Literary Studies. He is working on a dissertation focused on the concept of Earth in the poetry of European modernism. He is the principal investigator of the grant Rooted and Uprooted in Polish Poetry of the 20th and 21st Centuries: A Phytographic Critique Project. He is also the author of the monograph Pietà in 20th-Century Literature and Art (KUL, 2023), published as part of an award for the best master’s thesis in Polish Studies.
